The cottage is 4 star
rated, sits within a terrace of Grade II listed Ironworkers cottages and
accommodates 4 comfortably (although can sleep 5). The cottage can be
accessed from the front or the back of the property. Access by the
front is through garden gate across stepping stones and shingle and then
via the front door which is 3ft wide. Access by the rear is from
the service road where there is a step down to the back door which is
approximately 3ft wide.
Downstairs there is a 20ft Lounge/Dining room with beamed ceiling and
parquet flooring and a separate kitchen with gas cooker and larder
fridge with small freezer compartment. There is a utility area with a
washer/dryer and a downstairs bathroom with a powerful shower over the
bath. Please note, there is currently no dishwasher in the property.
Parking is available in the service road behind the cottage and at the
front of the property in Pool View road. The cottage has gas central
heating and there are front and rear gardens. We regret that we cannot
accept pets and that there is no smoking permitted inside the property.
Upstairs there are
two double bedrooms (each with a 5ft double bed) and one single bedroom
suitable for a child or adult. The main double and single rooms overlook
the Horsehay pool.
Other facilities include - TV, DVD, PS/2, books, games and wireless
broadband. A complementary welcome pack is included.
